The station Wynter's Rest sits on the edge of more populated space. It serves as a bastion of civilization for the many small mining and colony worlds that occupy the 4 closest systems. The station is nestles in a Lagrange point above a gas giant. Methane and other volatiles keep the Wynter's Rest powered, cheap fuel being its biggest attraction to passing ships, and its boarding school attracting the local colonists' cubs, too.
